Gov Aliyu, Dangote, Sharehu Offer Condolences to Yaradua Family

Governor Aliyu Ahmad of Sokoto State has led a delegation that included a former Governor of the state, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, and some members of the State Executive Council on a condolence visit to the Yaradua family over the death of the family matriarch, Hajiya Dada Yaradua.

The delegation was received by the state governor, who, along with businessman Alhaji Aliko Dangote, led them to the Yaradua family residence.

The sympathizers who described the deceased as a mother to the nation, prayed Allah to grant her eternal rest.

Similarly, a former Director General of the National Teachers’ Institute, Prof. Aminu Ladan Sharehu has also paid a condolence visit to the Yaradua family over the loss.

Prof. Sharehu who was received by Senator Abdulazeez Musa Yaradua and Mustafa Musa Yaradua described Hajiya Dada’s death as a “personal loss”.

“I was personally touched by Hajiya Dada’s passing, she was a gentle, kind and God-fearing mother who nurtured her children with utmost discipline, and this has reflected in the way they served this country.

Sharehu, who is the Matawallen Zazzau and Chairman, Kaduna State Local Government Service Board, prayed Allah to shower Hua mercies on the deceased.

“We miss her dearly, and the nation misses her, we pray that Allah admits her in Jannatul Firdaus.

It would be recalled that the Yaradua family had earlier received condolences from former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and elder statesman Abdulsalami Abubakar among others.
