Nasarawa Police Arrest Woman, 2 Biological Children For House Breaking

Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested a woman and two of her biological children for house breaking and theft in Lafia, the state capital.

A statement signed and issued to newsmen by the Police Public Relation Officer, Deputy Superintendent, DSP Ramhan Nansel, says Police Operatives attached to Angwan Lambu Division arrested one Khadija Umar popularly known as Naira and two of her sons for criminal act.

The statement explains that, the mode of Operation of the criminals is that Khadija goes around monitoring residents of a particular area they want to strike, when the coast is clear, she uses the two of her children and two other suspects still at large to carry out their nefarious activities.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, has ordered a manhunt for the other fleeing suspects and directed the Divisional Police officer to charge the suspects to court for prosecution upon conclusion of the investigation.

The woman and the stolen items

It says, items recovered from the suspects includes, two television set, two 6×6 mattresses, a gas cooker, and 12kg cylinder, a standing fan, Go Tv decoder, cooking pots, electric jug, refrigerator and solar panels suspected to be stolen as exhibits.
