The Nigerian Army says it is set to conduct a shooting range classification exercise for the year 2024.
This is contained in a press release issued to newsmen in Dutse by the Acting Assistant Director Army public relations of 26 Armoured Brigade Nogerian Army Lieutenant Uzoma Egwu Ukpai.
The statement said the headquarters 26 Armoured Brigade is scheduled to conduct the exercise in ‘Yargaba Barracks Dutse from 26th to 28th August 2024.
Lieutenant Uzoma Egwu the exercise will bring about movement of troops and equipment to the range area.
The statement therefore advised the general not to panic on seeing troops moving and upon hearing gunshots especially residents of ‘Yargaba community. .
It also urged farmers in the area to keep off their farmlands during the exercise.
