KBSG Approves Permanent Appointment Of 233 Casual Health Workers

The Kebbi State Government has regularized the appointment of two hundred and thirty three  casual health workers to permanent and pensionable.

Presenting letters of employment to the workers, the State Commissioner for Health, Comrade Yunusa Musa Ismail, said the newly absorbed workers comprised of one hundred and thirty eight from Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital and ninety five from Kebbi Medical Centre Kalgo.

According to him, the regularization process was approved by Governor Nasir Idris following a screening exercise conducted by a committee headed by the Head of Service of the State, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, and co-chaired by Alhaji Shafiu Zauro.

The Commissioner, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the regularization of the workers employment status and urged them to rededicate themselves to serving the state to ensure the success of the administration’s objectives of transforming the state health sector.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr. Shehu Nuhu Koko, commended the administration for prioritizing the affairs of the Health Ministry in fulfillment of the government’s healthcare objectives for people of the state.
