FRCN DG Commits To Global Revitalization Of The Corporation

The Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr. Mohammed Bulama, says he has put strategies in place to revitalize the Corporation in line with global standards.

The FRCN Director General stated this at the opening ceremony of the 2days news summit of the Corporation in Jalingo, the TARABA State Capital with the theme: “News Production in a transitional media landscape”.

According to him, his priority as the DG who just resumed barely a year ago is to provide training for staff and revitalize the various infrastructure of the Corporation especially the National Broadcasting Academy.

In an opening address, the Director News of FRCN, Ms Husseina Akila Banshika, mni commended all staff for their hard work and urged them to upgrade their skills on new digital information to ensure the Corporation remains outstanding in information disinformation.

She said the news summit was apt considering the emerging trends in the media space.

The Director News called for more hard work and dedication from staff to take FRCN to greater heights.
