The Sokoto State government has set up a committee aimed at promoting human capital development in the state.
Inaugurating the committee, the state governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto said the move was geared towards effective Service delivery in all sectors for socio-security and economic development of the state.
The governor who was represented by the state deputy governor, Alh.Idris Gobir said the group was saddled with the responsibilities of providing modalities and implementation in the thematic ministries in the state.
The deputy governor who is also the chairman of the group ,enjoined them to live up to expectation for the attainment of the set objective.
Earlier,the Secretary of the group Malam Bashir Mohammed Achida said the thematic ministries include that of Health,Education, Budget and Economic Planning as well as Youth and labour commissions.
Malam Bashir Achida who is also the Special Adviser on Economic Matters assured the committee readiness to justify the trust reposed in them.
