Support Tinubu Administration, Exercise Patience, TSO Nat’l Coordinator Urges Nigerians

Written by Yusuf Zubairu

The National Coordinator of the Tinubu Kashim Shettima Campaign Organization (TSCO), Aminu Sulaiman, has appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience and provide the maximum support needed for this administration to move the country in the right direction.

Aminu made this plea in Abuja while briefing newsmen on the current measures President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was taking to ensure sustainable economic prosperity of Nigerians

He said the country had spent a significant amount of time in difficult terrain, and to emerge from such a situation, it needs full collaboration and support from Nigerians to be able to strategically plan and implement good policies.

Aminu Sulaiman added that President Tinubu is a visionary leader who is attentive to the aspirations of Nigerians. “Recently, he agreed to increase the minimum wage to seventy thousand naira for Nigerian civil servants and directed the Ministry of Agriculture to provide free fertilizer to state governments for farmers and distribute grains to vulnerable populations.”

According to him, this will significantly boost the morale of public servants and positively impact the lives of Nigerians, especially at the grassroots level, thereby enhancing food production and food security in the country.

He also said the signing of the Local Government Autonomy bill was one of the most important achievement so far which in the past so many Presidents were not able to succeed in that direction, arguing that this would strengthen economic activities at the local levels and good governance.

The National Coordinator (TSO) also mentioned that, as a true democrat and transparent leader, President Tinubu has instructed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to monitor Local Government funds to prevent any potential mismanagement.

He encouraged the public to use the Commission’s online portal to report any suspicious activities involving the diversion of Local Government funds anywhere in Nigeria.

Regarding the current protests, the National Coordinator urged the protesters to avoid wanton destruction of critical infrastructure and learn from the lessons of countries such as Sudan, Kenya, and, more recently, Bangladesh, where such protests led to anarchy.

Aminu Sulaiman, however, appealed to protesters and all Nigerians to embrace the spirit of peace and dialogue in addressing issues rather than resorting to protests, which often lead to destruction and retrogression.
