Kano State Government has imposed a twenty four hours curfew in the state.
The state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated this while addressing Journalists at government house, Kano.
He said the decision to impose the twenty four hours curfew became necessary due to breakdown of law and order by some unpatriotic citizens who took advantage of the peaceful protest and began looting people’s properties.
The Governor maintained that the decision was taken after an extensive deliberations by Heads of security agencies in Kano during an emergency security meeting for peace to reign.
He appealed to the citizens of the state to continue to be law abiding and peace lovers.
