Kebbi Gets New CP, Solicits For Public Support In Fighting Crimes

The New Commissioner of Police for Kebbi State, Bello Sani, has assumed office with an appeal to the people of the state to support, cooperate and assist the Police and other security agencies with vital, accurate and prompt information with a view to ensuring their security and safety for socio-economic activities to thrive in State.

In a statement by the Command’s PRO, SP Nafiu Abubakar and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kebbi State, says Police Command is informing the public that, a new Commissioner of Police has been posted to the Command who took over from Chris Aimionowane, whom has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police and posted to Force CID Abuja, as AIG Interpol.

The statement says CP Sani, hails from Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

It adds that the new CP was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 18th May, 1992, as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and was trained at the Nigeria Police Academy, Annex, Kaduna State.

The statement explains that, while in the Force, the newly posted Commissioner of Police served in different State Commands, Zonal Commands, Formations and the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
