Jigawa Govt Recognizes Capacity of CNIM for Skill Development

Jigawa State Government says it will strengthen existing cordial working relationship with the Chartered Nigeria Institute of Management CNIM.

The State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri gave the assurance when he received the CNIM, North West Zonal Chairman, Professor Abubukar S. Garba in his office.

He explained that the State Government was aware of the full capacity of the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered) particularly to the workers that have registered with the Institute in terms of their skills.

Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri said the State Government attached great importance to the training and retraining of its workforce, and would not relent in its effort to make the State Civil Servants more active through regular training.

Earlier, the North West Zonal Chairman, Professor Abubukar Garba said they were in his office to brief him on the activities of the Institute.

According to him, the Institute depends on the quality and quantity of its membership who are in various managerial and executive positions in both public and private sectors of the economy.

He explained that the Institute had management training partnerships with Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies as well as corporate organizations across all sectors.
