Eid-el-Kabir: Gov Uba Sani Felicitates Muslim Ummah

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has felicitates with Muslim brothers and sisters in Kaduna State, Nigeria and across the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

The Governor Stated this while speaking with newsmen shortly after observing Eid Prayer at Sultan Bello Mosque Kaduna led by the Chief Imam, Sheikh Sulaiman Mohammed Adam.

Malam Sani prayed to Almighty Allah to accept all the Muslim prayers and blessed their sacrifices.

“Today’s feast reminds us of the imperative and value of devotion, patience, and perseverance. It also points us to the values of selflessness, love and compassion. As we show love and care to our families and neighbours, let’s continue to pray earnestly for the peace and progress of our state and country”

He called on the people of Kaduna State to continue to have faith in government both at the state and National level.

According to him, his administration has been working toward revitalizing the economy, particularly in rural areas, through massive investments in agriculture, education, infrastructure, and socio-economic support for smallholder farmers and small-scale businesses in various communities.

“I am aware that, a lot of people in this country are making efforts, sacrifices supporting our government, supporting our President, Bola Tinubu”

Malam Uba Sani assured residents of Kaduna State that there would be light at the end of the ongoing efforts of the Federal and state governments to make things better.

“We know that Mr President is doing well at the National level, we know the effort he is making, and i have no doubt in my mind that, everything will be good, is a matter of time .

The Governor emphasized that everything would be better in the country while the sacrifices of people would not be in vein.

“Here in Kaduna state we have made strides in education, health, housing, roads infrastructure, poverty reduction through targeted grants to vulnerable persons and support to micro, small and medium enterprises”

“my engagement with key stakeholders has toned down tension in troubled communities and engendered greater sense of togetherness across religious and ethnic divides”

“Though we are not yet where we ought to be, with the cooperation and commitment of our people, especially critical stakeholders, we shall fully stabilize the state and place it firmly on the road to sustainable peace and development”

 

Governor Uba Sani implored all residents of Kaduna to continue to live in peace and harmony with other faiths in the spirit of peaceful coexistence.

The Chief of Imam of Sultan Bello Mosque Sheikh Sulaiman Mohammed Adam who led the two Raka’at prayers in his sermon reminded Muslims on the importance of fearing of Allah in their day to day activities and urged them to avoid anything that could jeopardise their earnings.

Sheikh Sulaiman Adam also reminded Muslims on the importance of giving Zakkat on the need and supporting orphans.

Despite heavy rainfall in the morning, thousands of Muslims have attended various Eid ground to observe the eid prayer.

Some of the Muslim faithful who spoke to Radio Nigeria Kaduna expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for sparing their lives to witness this years Eid el Kabir in good health despite economic challenges.
