Deputy Senate President Mourns Liberty TV Correspondent Mohammed Adamu

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has expressed his sorrow over the passing of the Senate Correspondent for Liberty TV & Radio, Malam Mohammed Adamu, who died in the early hours of today (Wednesday) in Abuja.

The late Adamu, who hailed from Kaduna State, served as the State House Correspondent for Liberty TV & Radio before being deployed to the National Assembly.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau described the deceased as a hardworking and dedicated journalist.

Senator Barau extended his condolences to Adamu’s immediate family, the management and staff of Liberty TV and Radio, and members of the Senate Press Corps.

“ With a heavy heart, but in total submission to the will of Allah (SWT), I mourn the passing of Mohammed Adamu, the Senate Correspondent for Liberty TV & Radio, who died in the early hours of today. He was a hardworking, dedicated, and committed journalist. May Allah (SWT) grant him Jannatul Firdausi.

” My thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family of Adamu, the management and staff of the Liberty TV & Radio and members of the Senate Press Corps. God will grant them strength and patience to endure this loss,”
