Governor Umar Namadi, has approved the appointment of Dr. Bilkisu Dalhatu Isma as the pioneer Executive Secretary of the newly established Jigawa State Residents Identification Management Agency.
This is contained in a statement made available to Radio Nigeria by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
“Until her appointment, Dr. Isma is the Head Research and Development, National Identity Management Commission”, the statement says.
Malam Bala Ibrahim explained that the new Executive Secretary served as a Jigawa State Coordinator, National Identity Management Commission from 2013 to 2014.
He added that, Dr Bilkisu Isma is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrialist and Corporate Administrators and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management Nigeria Academy of Education.
According to him, the appointment of the appointee is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.
“While congratulating the appointee, it is hoped that she will work hard to justify the confidence placed in her and give her best towards the development of the state,” the SSG said.
The appointment take immediate effect.
