Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) says it will not relent in its efforts to facilitate both internal and external trade with other countries around the world in order to generate more revenue for the nation.

The Katsina State Area Command Comptroller, Alhaji Abba Aji made this known while briefing newsmen about the primary and secondary responsibilities of the command in katsina.

He said that although their primary task was to prevent the illegal export and import of goods into the country, the command is also committed to educating the public about their activities and conducting seminars for secondary and tertiary institutions.

According to him, there are many goods that can be legally traded within and outside the country, but many people are unaware of this, as such the command has been actively educating business owners on the matter.

Comptroller Aji also commended the effort of katsina state government, traditional institutions as well as the public toward supporting the command in the discharge of their constitutional mandate
