Jigawa Speaker Urges Newly Elected LG Chairmen to Prioritize Fairness

The Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, has called on the newly elected local government chairmen in the state to be fair and just in managing the affairs of their respective councils.

He made the statement during an interview with journalists in Dutse.

The Speaker assured that the State House of Assembly will guide and advise the newly elected local government executives to help them administer their councils in the best way possible.

He enjoined the elected council executives to ensure the execution of capital projects and the provision social amenities that will complement the Namadi led administration’s effort to bring sustainable development for the well-being of the people.

Dangyatin added that, local government election is more important to the rural populace.
