Jigawa State Government has declared Tuesday, September 17th 2024 a work free to mark the celebration of the Eidel-Maulud, the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
This is contained in a statement signed and made available to by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri
“I write to inform you that Government has declared 14th R/Awwal,1446AH (17th September, 2024) as work free day to celebrate the Birthday (Maulud Nabiy) of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)”
While making the declaration on behalf of Governor Umar Namadi, the Head of Service congratulated all Muslim faithful in Jigawa State and the Country at large for this year’s occasion.
Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri, enjoined workers in the state to utilize the period for prayer to Allah for His protection and guidance to their leaders for peace and progress of the state and the country in general.
