The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Danladi Jatau, has warned the staff about lateness to duties, stating that his administration will not condone indiscipline.

He gave the warning while addressing newsmen after he went round offices to check staff attendance and punctuality.

Mr. Danladi Jatau, who arrived at the office as early as 8:30 a.m., toured all the offices and expressed concern about the poor attendance.

He stated that the 7th Assembly under his leadership would not tolerate any staff undermining the functioning of the legislative institution.

According to him, an organization that lacks discipline will not progress, so staff must either discipline themselves or face disciplinary actions from management.

He reassured his continued commitment to improving the welfare of the Assembly staff, noting that they must be seen fulfilling their responsibilities.

Similarly, the Speaker, Mr. Danladi Jatau, has appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule for a complete renovation of the State House of Assembly Complex to facilitate conducive and effective legislative duties.

He made the appeal while touring the offices of the Honorable members and staff, stating that a conducive environment is key to a sound and effective legislature.

According to him, members and staff are working in conditions where most of the facilities are not functioning properly.

The Speaker commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for prioritizing the welfare of the Assembly members and staff, and assured him of his commitment to support his leadership for success.
