Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Extends Sympathy To Maiduguri Flood Victims

The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has expressed its deepest condolences to the people of Maiduguri and other communities affected by the recent devastating floods.

In a statement signed by the Director General, Engr (Dr) Abubakar Gambo Umar, the foundation praised the resilience and unity of the affected communities, describing them as a “beacon of hope” in these trying times.

The foundation called on individuals, organizations, and government agencies to provide immediate support and assistance to the victims, emphasizing the need for emergency responses to aid those affected.

“We urge the government to promptly allocate resources and implement relief efforts to meet the urgent needs of those affected by the floods,” the statement read. “We also encourage civil society organizations to harness their networks and resources to extend support and assistance to the impacted communities.”

The foundation further appealed to communities to come together in solidarity, offering help and comfort to their fellow citizens during this crisis.

“The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation stands with you in our collective effort to build a brighter and more hopeful future,” the statement concluded.

The foundation’s message of sympathy and support comes as the affected communities continue to grapple with the aftermath of the floods, which have left many without shelter, food, or access to basic necessities.
