Kaduna Deputy Governor Inspects On-going Hospital Project

The Kaduna State Government says it is working tirelessly to seeing to the completion of the three-hundred bed capacity hospital for the benefit of the people.

State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe stated this when she led government officials on a working visit to the project site at the new millennium city.

Dr Hadiza Balarabe, who is also the chairman of the committee set up by the the State Governor to ensure the completion of the project, said the committee members were determined to the realization of the October deadline set for the commissioning ceremony.

She pointed out that the committee has a work schedule that it strictly adheres to, for the successful completion of the project.

The Deputy Governor commended the project consultant and his team for their tireless efforts in seeing that the project is completed as scheduled.

Earlier in her address, Commissioner for Health, Hajiya Umma Ahmed explained that the present administration was passionate about the completion of the hospital.

She added that members of the committee have been working round the clock to ensure the successful completion of the assignment, by holding weekly meetings to review progress reports.

In his remarks, the project consultant, Mr Abba Bello Ingawa expressed delight over the visit, describing it as a morale booster.

He also acknowledged the tremendous support of the State Government to providing logistics, needed for the smooth running of the project.

During the visit, the Deputy Governor and her entourage were taken round the various wards and units of the on-going project.

Radio Nigeria reports that the hospital project was initiated during the tenure of former Governor Namadi Sambo.
