Kebbi State: One Hundred Teachers Trained On Artificial Intelligence

The United States Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF), has commenced the training of one hundred secondary school teachers on Artificial Intelligence (AI) towards improving educational development in Kebbi State.

Speaking on the training, the AI for Educator Project Lead, Adanma Odefa, explained that the pilot training in Kebbi state was to make learning better for students with the use of AI.

 

She described education as key to the development of any nation with young people as its greatest resources.

According to her, the organization supports educational initiatives as well  committed to strengthening human capital for inclusive Nigerian growth and development.

 

Odefa hoped that teachers would take advantage to acquire the requisite skills on AI for providing quality learning experience for their students.

Declaring the training open, Permanent Secretary, Kebbi State Ministry for Basic and Secondary School Education, Alhaji Abubakar Magaji Nayelwa, expressed appreciation to the U.S. government and its partners for its collaboration towards the development of teachers skills in the state.

He urged the participants to listen attentively during the training, and utilize the knowledge to improve educational outcomes in the state.
