New Chairman Of Kaura Namoda Polytechnic Assumes Office

The new Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha says his tenure is emphasizing on transparency, accountability, and fairness.

In the first meeting of the 10th Governing Council, Alhaji Mustapha highlighted the council’s commitment to the institution’s growth and development, pledging to work towards making the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda the best in the country.

He called on all stakeholders to support these goals.

During a familiarization visit to the Emir of Kaura Namoda, Major Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha (Rtd), Alhaji Mustapha stressed the importance of collaboration between the Governing Council, the Emirate, and the local community.

He also met with students, urging them to avoid social vices such as cultism, drug abuse, and exam malpractice, and encouraged them to focus on their education.

Alhaji Mustapha, who previously served as the Head of Service of Kaduna State, expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment and promised to uphold the trust placed in him and the council.

The Governing Council comprised of several prominent figures, including Hon. Uche Obiozor, Hon. Umaru Gambo, Hon. Olatunde Dare, and Hon. Muftau Adewale Egberongbe, were all appointed by the President.

The council also includes representatives from the Polytechnic, the Federal Ministry of Education, the host community, and the Alumni Association.

The Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda has six schools and 25 departments, ranging from Agricultural Technology to Science and Technology.

Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha’s leadership is seen as a new beginning for the institution, with a clear focus on advancing its standing and achievements.
