Kwara Govt gives 250 new computers to Igbaja CBT centre

Kwara State governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazq has presented 250 sets of desktop computers to Igbaja Computer Based Testing (CBT) centre in Ifelodun local government area of the state.


Presenting the gadgets in Igbaja, the Governor AbdulRazq said the step was to reduce the challenges faced by students of the district during the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations.

The Governor who was represented at the event by the Commissioner for Tertiary Education Dr Mary Arinde, said education is the heartbeat of the administration and a cornerstone for every human development.

He assured that policies and programmes on education would be taken with all seriousness by the administration.

For his part , the Elese of Igbajaland, Oba Ahmed Awuni Arepo, said the gesture will go a long way to encouraging student school in the use of computer, among other benefits.

The monarch said the facility will be of great benefit to over 20 secondary schools in Igbajaland and its environs.
