In a crucial meeting held yesterday in Abuja, the Honourable Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, emphasized the importance of choosing dialogue over violent protests.

The meeting was attended by the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Dayo Israel, and Zonal Youth Leaders from the six geopolitical zones.

Bello Muhammad Goronyo stressed that escalating protests could lead to further destruction of lives and property.

Rt. Hon. Goronyo, who previously served as the North West Zonal Secretary of the APC and the Director of Youth Mobilization for the Asiwaju/Shettima Campaign Council during the 2023 presidential election, highlighted the achievements of the current administration.

He noted significant efforts made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to improve the lives of Nigerians, including initiatives like local government autonomy, the creation of development commissions for the North West and North East, the Students’ Loan Program, investment grants, the establishment of the Ministry of Livestock Development, and numerous infrastructure projects nationwide.

Addressing the economic challenges, the Minister clarified that these issues are a result of past governmental mistakes and assured that President Tinubu is committed to resolving them.

He urged the youth to embrace dialogue, reject protests, and support the administration’s efforts to rebuild the nation and achieve economic recovery and prosperity.
