According to him, “ we categorically and unequivocally distanced ourselves and the entire students community in Niger State from the planned protest instead prefer dialogue in resolving differences.”

Comrade Salihu Yusuf applauded the achievements of the Niger state governor, Mohammed Umar Bago in the areas of infrastructural development, security, agriculture, health And education especially scholarship scheme for students among others.

He however, alleged that there was a plan by hoodlums to create disunity during the protest to loot and destroy property of Nigerians, hence the need for them to disassociate from the planned protest.
