State Minister for Defence Condoles Family of Late Kabiru Protocol in Gusau

The immediate past governor of Zamfara State, Bello Mohammed Matawalle has condoled with the family of his former Director-General in-charge of Protocol, Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf, who died on Monday after a brief illness.

This is contain in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the APC Malam Yusuf Idris and issued to newsmen in Gusau the State Capital.

Matawalle, who is now the Minister of State for Defence, sent his condolences through a delegation led by the state Chairman of APC Tukur Umar Danfulani.

He described the deceased who was DG Protocol to governor Matawalle and current Permanent Secretary Zamfara State, Ministry of Youths and Sports as a humble gentleman and carried out his duty with diligence, passion, and trust.

He said that, late Kabiru Yusuf would be missed and remembered for his contributions in training of those he came across and also lived a pious life guided by Islamic teachings.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased in Jannaatul Firdausi and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Matawalle also donated to the family of the deceased N5 million naira cash, 10 bags of Rice, 5 bags of Maize, 5 bags of millet, 5 cartons of Spaghetti, 5 cartons of macaroni and a bag of sugar.

A member of the family, Alhaji Lawali Sani, thanked the Minister for the condolence visit, his concern, and donations to the family.
