Niger State House of Assembly says it will continue to partner with the Kogi State House of Assembly to promote mutual understanding and enhance their legislative duties.
Speaker of the House, Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkindaji stated this in a statement to Newsmen in Minna by his Head of Media and Public Relations Faruok Umar Isah when he visited his Kogi State counterpart, Aliyu Umar in Lokoja the State Capital.
Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkindaji appreciated his Kogi State counterpart for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage, and assured him of the desire of Niger State Assembly to partner with Kogi State Assembly for effective legislative performance that would benefit the two States.
The Speaker however, called for continued legislative partnership and collaboration among State Houses of Assembly from North Central States to reflect on the already existing harmonious relationship existing between them.
In his response, the Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly Aliyu Umar, thanked the Niger State Speaker for the visit, and assured him of their cooperation and support at all times to succeed.
