Gov Uba Tasks Corps Employers On Good Welfare

Kaduna state government has advocated proper conduct of Corps members through out the service year.

Governor Uba Sani said this at the closing ceremony of the Twenty twenty -four Batch ‘B’ Stream One Orientation Course held at the temporary camp in Kaduna.

The governor who was represented by Commissioner of Sport, Prof. Benjamin Gugong urged corps to accept their posting in good faith and work diligently to achieve developmental services that were needed the most in rural communities.

While declaring the orientation course closed, Governor Uba Sani appealed to corps employers to accept and make the welfare of Corps members a top priority.

He also encouraged Corps members to be security conscious and respect the culture and traditions of host communities.

Adding that his administration will continue to ensure security and welfare of Corps members.

State Coordinator of the scheme, Mr. Hassan Mahmud Taura cautioned Corps members against night journeys and unauthorized travels outside the state.

Mr. Taura further admonished them to take advantage of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development (SAED) post-camp training so as to become self-reliant.

Meanwhile, the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) has posted Corps members to various primary places of assignment to commence the one year service to the Nation.
