President Tinubu Appoints Heads Of Agencies, Parastatals

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Silas Agara as the new Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment, NDE.

Also appointed is Mr. Umar Ibrahim Mohammed as the new Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency, NIHSA.

Mr. Mohammed is an architect, and also, a construction technology and environment professional.

The President has also approved the appointments of Mr. Baffa Agundi as the new Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, NPC, and Mr. Saleh Abubakar as the new Director-General of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall, NAGGW.

Others are Mr. Oluwaseun Faleye as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, NSITF, Mrs. Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay as the Executive Director (Operations) of the NSITF, and Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran as the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission, PenCom .

The rest are Mr. Jobson Ewalefoh as the new Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, ICRC.

Mr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo as the new Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority, NALDA, Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo as the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, and Mr. Tosin Adeyanju as the new Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund, NLTF.

Abubakar Dantsoho has also been appointed as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), while Senator Adedayo Adeyeye is Chairman of the Board NPA.

Dr. Dantsoho holds a doctorate degree in maritime technology from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom, and a master’s degree in international transport from Cardiff University of Wales, United Kingdom.

President Bola Tinubu has equally approved the appointment of Senator Bashir Lado Mohammed as Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters (Office of the President), Mr. Idris Ajimobi as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development (Office of the President).

A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, says the President anticipates the utmost dedication and patriotic zeal of the appointees in enhancing service delivery and quality of life across the nation.
