The meeting between President Bola Tinubu and the leaders of organized labour has ended with some uncertainty about the issues discussed.

After their hour-long meeting with President Tinubu, NLC President Joe Ajaero informed reporters that specific financial matters were not addressed.

When asked whether the meeting had any impact on their call for a 260,000 Naira National Minimum Wage, he stated that this issue would be on the agenda for their next meeting with President Tinubu next week.

Similarly, TUC President Festus Osifo shared that their primary purpose in the meeting was to convey the challenges faced by Nigerians.

Minister of State for Labour Nkiruka Onyejeocha, who accompanied the labour leaders, mentioned that both sides found the discussions to be constructive.
