BUK Expels 29 Students, Rusticates and Exonerates Others for Exam Malpractice

The Bayero University Kano (BUK) Senate, at its 413th meeting held on July 3, 2024, has expelled 29 students, rusticated 3, and warned 15 others for their involvement in examination misconduct.

According to a statement signed by the Acting Director of the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions, and Records, Aminu Wada Kurawa, the decision was made in accordance with the General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR) and the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies (GRGPS).
