Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived Kaduna to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the Resettlement Scheme for Individuals Affected by Conflicts at Tudun Biri Community, the Kaduna village erroneously bombed by the military drone, last year.
The rebuilding of the village will be carry out under the Federal Government Pulako Initiative project.
The Vice President was received at the Kaduna International Airport by the State Governor, Malam Uba Sani, Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, Director General of NEMA, Hajiya Zubaida Umar and other Senior Government officials of Kaduna State.
It would be recalled that, a military drone on a routine operation erroneously bombed Tudun Biri community during Maulud Nabbiy celebration on the night of 3rd December, 2023, killed many villagers.
The Government both at the state and Federal level thereafter promised to rebuild the community and pay compensation to families of the deceased and injured victims.
