Be Agent Of Change -Gov Uba To Corps Members

Kaduna State government has called on youths to position themselves as agents of change for national integration and socio-economic development.

Governor Uba Sani made the call at the Swearing – in Ceremony of the Twenty twenty -four Batch ‘B’ Stream One Orientation Course of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) held in Kaduna.

The governor who was represented by Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development Rabi Salisu urged Corps members to live peacefully and build bridges to establish meaningful relationship across all backgrounds.

Governor Uba Sani added that his administration would continue to support and encourage Corps members in fulfilling the obligations of the scheme.

State Coordinator of the scheme, Mr Hassan Mahmud Taura in his address, said Corps members must remain disciplined and attend all camp programmes for they are designed to equip them with leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

A total of one thousand five hundred and fifty comprising seven hundred and seven males and eight hundred and forty – three females were sworn in to commence the orientation course.
