Zamfara APC Moves to Strengthen Unity Among Members

Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the chairmanship of Tukur Umar Danfulani, has initiated a monthly meeting that will bring together all its members to foster unity.

This was disclosed in a statement by the APC State’s Publicity Secretary Yusuf Idris Gusau and issued to newsmen.

The meeting was held across all the 14 local government areas of the state and attended by all critical stakeholders, as well as state party Executives from the local governments and their wards executives, youths, women and party elders.

In Gusau, the meeting was chaired by the State Party Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani. In Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji, it was led by the immediate past Chairman, Lawali Liman Gabdon Kauran, and the State Secretary, Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima.

Similarly, in Talata-Mafara, the meeting was attended by former State Secretary of the party, Sani Musa and in all the other local governments, notable party chieftains such as Members of House of Representatives and State Assembly Members elected under the party attended the meeting.,

The meeting also appreciated individual and collective contributions of leaders and elders, especially welfare packages from the state leader of the party and Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle and Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, among others.

The party also commended and appreciated President Bola Ahmed’s proactive measures in addressing the challenges of hardship by granting One-off allocation to states and the Federal Capital Territory of N10 billion for the procurement of buses and CNG uplift programme.

In addition to that, the party also appreciate the delivery of N50,000 uplift grant each to 100,000 families per state for three months as well as provision for labour unions and civil society organizations and deployment of N155 billion for the purchase and sale of assorted foodstuff to be distributed across the nation.

However, while urging members to continue to be law abiding in or outside the state, the party assured them of initiating more welfare packages that will reach members at all levels, also soliciting for their continuous prayers for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and the party leaders.
