JGSG Pledges New Policies to Alleviate Hardships for Students, Teachers, Institutions

Jigawa State Government has pledged to continue introducing policies and programs that will ease the sufferings of students, teachers, and staff of higher institutions in the state.

Governor Umar Namadi gave the assurance when he received the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Babura Professor Sabo Ibrahim and management staff of the institution who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House Dutse.

Malam Umar Namadi therefore assured that the state government would look into the challenges facing the institution for further action and congratulates the Vice Chancellor for the achievements recorded on academic activities and Infrastructural development.

He also expressed appreciation for the visit and reiterates government commitment to continue supporting federal institutions when the need arise.

Earlier, Vice Chancellor of the federal university of technology Babura professor Sabo Ibrahim told the Governor that they were in his office to brief him about activities of the institution.

He explained that the institution established in 2021 have over one thousand students, running about fourteen courses and completed the construction of two faculties at its permanent site.

The VC also commended the state government for its immense support for the success full take off of the university.
