Kwara Gov, Emir of Ilorin Mourn Death Of Mrs Florence Saraki

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condoled the Saraki family on the death of their matriarch, Chief (Mrs) Florence Morenike Saraki.

In a statement by his spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq commiserates with the former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Mr. Olaolu Saraki, and the rest of the family on the sad development.

He urged the Sarakis to be consoled by the fine legacies of their matriarch.

AbdulRazaq prays God to repose the soul of Chief Mrs Florence Saraki and uphold the family after her death.

In his message, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari described the deceased as a wonderful mother, a great philanthropist and virtuous wife of Dr. Olusola Saraki, the late Waziri of Ilorin whose contributions to humanity will forever be remembered.

The monarch prayed Almighty God to repose her soul and grant the families the fortitude to bear the great loss.

In their condolence message, the People of Agbaji Community in Kwara state, said chief Florence Saraki the Owo born princess showed love and kindness to all without boundaries.

The statement maintained that the late Florence Saraki, the widow of the former Second Republic senate leader and strong man of Kwara politics, late Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, fondly called Oloyeee and mother of the president of the 8th senate Dr. Bukola Saraki died on Tuesday 18th June.
