Eid Al-Kabir: Jaji Distributes 3,000 Rams, N250m Sallah Gifts in Zamfara

A Federal Lawmaker representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara State, Aminu Sani Jaji, has distributed three thousand rams to the people, especially supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

This is contained in a statement by the Jaji Coordinating Committee, Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar MC to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.

The statement says the gesture is aimed at assisting Muslim faithfuls, especially APC supporters and the less privileged, to make sacrifices and celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival in good spirits.

 

Similarly, the lawmaker, who also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Fund, has earmarked the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N250,000,000) for distribution to deserving individuals, orphans, and vulnerable groups across the state as Eid-el-Kabir welfare packages.

Radio Nigeria reports that the beneficiaries include prominent personalities in the state, various categories of former political appointees, APC state executives, local government and ward executives of the party, state APC elders, the Former Directors General Forum, former local government council chairmen and vice-chairmen, the Councillors Forum, as well as various categories of APC associations and other party stakeholders.

Other beneficiaries are Islamic Scholars in the state, State Executives of Jajiyya Political Movement across the state, orphans, APC Supporters, youths and women groups among others.

Similarly, the beneficiaries of the N250 million donated by Sani Jaji include former political officeholders across the state, Islamic scholars, Qur’anic reciters, and state, local government, and ward executives of the Jajiyya Political Movement.

The gesture will also be extended to various APC stakeholders across the 147 political wards in the 14 local government areas of the state, with Kaura-Namoda and Birnin Magaji constituents receiving a special package of both rams and cash.

The lawmaker noted that the Sallah welfare package is part of his annual initiative to boost morale and reduce the financial burden on Muslims in the state during the Sallah festivals.
