Kaduna Governor Flags Construction Of 40 Kilometer Road

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has has flagged off the construction of a 21 kilometer road connecting Kasuwan Magani in Kajuru Local Government to Wusar and to Gwaraji in Igabi Local Government.

He also performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a 6 kilometer asphalt road from Rafin Guza to Hayin Naiya to Malalin Gabas, linking the ongoing construction at KASU permanent site in Igabi local government.

Speaking at the ceremonies, Governor Sani highlighted the importance of the projects as part of his administration’s rural transformation initiative.

“This is been achieved by extending the required socio-economic infrastructure that will support work and social lives in our rural communities”he said.

Similarly, Governor Uba Sani has also inaugurated the construction of another a 13 kilometre access road connecting Turawa to Dinya, passing through Da’a Kurungupi and Kadage in Soba LGA.

Governor Sani emphasized his commitment to improving socio-economic infrastructure in rural areas by developing road and drainage networks throughout rural local government headquarters.

According to him, all the three roads when completed would provide linkages from farms and markets.

In a welcome address, the Kaduna State Commissioner of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dr. Hamza Soba, pointed out that, the Uba Sani administration has undertaken numerous projects that positively impact the lives of Kaduna State residents.

Chairman of Soba Local Government, Alhaji Abdulmumin Gamagira, expressed his gratitude to the Governor for his consideration and efforts towards improving the lives of the local government’s residents and the state at large.
