Thirty Rice Cluster Farm Groups Receives Farm Inputs In Kwara

At least thirty  rice cluster farm groups in Edu local government area of Kwara state have benefitted from the ongoing state-wide farm inputs distribution exercise.

The State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Oloruntoyosi Thomas stated this while supervising the distribution of the farm inputs to cluster farmers in Yelwa Village and Bacita.

She commended the State Governor for his relentless efforts towards ensuring food sufficiency in the state.

Mrs Thomas who expressed delight on the successful distribution of the inputs in the area, advised the benefitting farmers to ensure judicious use of the farm inputs.

In his address on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Chairman, All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Kwara state Chapter, Umar Mahmud -Aboki commended the state government for taking intervention to farmers on their farmland .

Earlier in his address , Etsu Tsaragi, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi represented by Santuraki of Tsaragi, Alhaji Jubril Gana -Jubril thanked the state government for putting in place the intervention to improve the livelihood of the farmers.
