Skills Acquisition: NDE Trains Youths on Environmental Beautification In Kano

 

The National Directorate of Employment has reassured it’s readiness in eradicating the menace of unemployment among youths in the Country.

 

The State Coordinator of the Agency in Kano Alhaji Danjuma Shehu disclosed this during the opening ceremony of Environmental Beautification training held in Kano.

 

He said the objectives of the training was to provide Self employment,create a pool of entrepreneurs that will become employers of Labour.

 

Alhaji Danjuma Shehu maitained that the Environmental Beautification training scheme was one of the laudable schemes designed for the training of the unemployed persons to acquire professional skills in Environmental Beautification,Sanitation and Protection.

 

He further stated that the training comprises of h­ardland scaping,  softland scaping and plaster of Paris (POP).

 

The coordinator urged the beneficiaries to make Adequate Utilization of the golden opportunity geared towards becoming self reliant.

 

Special Assistant to the governor of Kano State on Women Affairs Hajiyan Rabi Adamu Hotoro applauded the efforts and commitment of the federal government for providing training to the teeming youths of the state.

 

Salisu Adamu and Bello Ubale Suleiman were among the participants of the training they reiterated their commitment towards ensuring that the objectives of the programme was fully achieved.
