Kwara Gov Restates Support For Tourism

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has restated the determination of his administration to redouble efforts in making the state a tourism hub
through the promotion of it’s rich cultures.

Governor AbdulRazaq state this while speaking in Lafiagi , Edu local government area of the state during the celebration of the Emirate’s Sallah Nko festival.

He said the state is endowed with beautiful cultures that can attract tourists and boost local economy.

AbdulRazaq explained that next year, the celebration would be made elaborate to attract people from other parts of the country.

He advised the people of the community to ensure peaceful coexistence in the area.

In his address, the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Kawu, said the Emirate would continue to support the administration to ensure better development in the state.

He appealed to the federal and the state government to urgently provide palliative to cushioned the hardship people are passing through as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy in the country.
